Skip the phonetic notation, and your child will learn to read faster if you give him these key conditions

跳過注音,孩子反而更快學會閱讀——如果你給他這些關鍵條件

Recently, we have received many questions about Zhuyin in the community.
I also found that more and more parents began to believe——

Reading and literacy do not necessarily rely on phonetic symbols to begin.

One of the wonderful parents left us a message asking:

"My daughter is four years old now and doesn't know Zhuyin. She started learning to recognize characters at the age of three and learned very quickly. But now she's become naughty and uncooperative. Do you have any suggestions?"

I really like this question because it hides two common myths that many parents have encountered:

❌ Myth 1: You must learn Zhuyin before you can learn to read

Actually, it is not!
Learning to read does not start with "pinyin", but with "understanding and liking".

This four-year-old child can recognize words and likes stories. In fact, he has already reached the golden starting point of reading ability.
If you live overseas, there is actually no need to make your children suffer just to learn Zhuyin.

✅ Suggestion: If you really want to learn Zhuyin, you can leave it until your child can read independently, or evenWilling to proactively look up wordsTime to learn more naturally.

❌ Myth 2: Children who don’t cooperate = they don’t study seriously?

When children "do not cooperate", it is often not because of learning problems, but becauseThe environment doesn't match the rhythm.

✔️ Try thinking of it this way:
We don’t want our children to “study hard”;
We want to help him find "reasons to actively approach books."

Maybe aInteresting storybook, maybe it’s the sense of accomplishment of being able to understand it yourself, or maybe it’s the 5 minutes you spend laughing with him every day.

When the child thinks, "I can understand this by myself! I want to read it again!"
That moment is when literacy really begins to take root.

💡 To this mom, and everyone on this journey:

🎈 You have helped your child overcome the most difficult first hurdle - "not forcing them to start with Zhuyin".
🎈 Next, let your children freely walk their own path in the forest of reading.

What you have to do is simple:

👉 ProvideInteresting readings
👉 Enjoy the joy of "understanding" with him
👉 Little by little, let him build up the confidence and identity of "I can learn it on my own"

This is also us樂樂What I want to do:
Let every child grow up in the story without having to comply with the class schedule or wait for adults to be free.
