Parents, you are more capable than you think❤️

There are some words you may need to hear -You really are doing better than you think.

real. You are willing to start building a Chinese reading path for your child, willing to read the book page by page with your child, press the reading pen, and repeat again and again. Even if you occasionally doubt or feel lazy, you still don’t give up.

This week, let's keep this momentum going🔥

Here are four easy tasks to help you rekindle your reading passion 👇

(I.e. Tips | Low-threshold interaction allows children to participate more naturally!

Sometimes children will resist when you ask, "Do you think this Lele book is good?"
Next time, try a different approach and these simple and fun multiple-choice questions:

  • "Yes/No?📚"
  • "Which page do you like? Show it to me!"
  • "Do you want to draw this page?🎨"
  • "How many animals are there in today's story? Count them for me!"

You’ll find that as long as you guide them in the right way, children actually want to participate—it just has to be the right way.

🎧 Moment of Inspiration | Irene, what book are you reading with your children recently?

We recently reread the red book story "By the Sea", which was a favorite of my middle son when he was 3 years old. He used to spread a blue towel on the ground and pretend it was the sea while listening to stories. Now he teaches his younger brother to play like this. At that moment, I felt that "perseverance is really worth it."

You can also try using scenes from books to let your children "play out the story" and connect reading with life.

This week's task: Go back to Lele's first book and give it a new way to play

Pick one of your family's oldest popular books and reread it, then try presenting it differently this time:

  • Read out loud and record it for your family and friends to listen to
  • Draw the story
  • Make a short video imitating the character
  • Add your "extended ending" and write a paragraph

After you finish, you can also share your creativity with everyone in the FB group, and we will select a few families to receive small gifts🎁

???? This week's appreciation moment | Message from mom May

"I thought my child was not suitable for Chinese, but it turned out that I was using the wrong method. Now every morning when he wakes up, he will press the dots to read and listen to the story by himself. This is a scene I never thought of. Thank you for designing this set of books!"

Thank you, May. Your story will encourage more parents not to give up❤️

That’s all for this week. I hope this letter brings you a little relief, a little inspiration, and lots of support! We will launch new reading activities every month, and we are also preparing someAn interactive program exclusively for Lele's parents, so stay tuned!

I wish you and your children a happy reading time this week🌱
